Lekker Bekkies Edu-Care-Center with great potential. In March 2018 we started with three architecture students from Germany in the Strand by extending their previously planned kitchen onto an existing building. Donations were collected in advance for this project. Within eight weeks, they built a beautiful and functional kitchen and equipped it completely. The floor of the adjoining outdoor area was then treated so that it could be used as a kitchen garden for growing vegetables, lettuce and herbs.
This kindergarten, run with passion and commitment, is located on the personal property of the kindergarten manager – a good prerequisite for investing in the future expansion of classrooms. She and her kindergarten teachers have the potential to accept more children.
We plan to start more construction by the beginning of 2019.
