This very large kindergarten with more than 120 children, now has official approval and is therefore funded by the government. Nevertheless, the equipment is very basic and its condition is inadequate: originally clay soil floors were in all the classrooms, it had a leaky roof, with no protection from the sun in the outdoor area.
In 2012, Bernd Holtkamp initiated the construction of a foundation with private funds, followed by the laying of approx. 200 sqm of floor tiles. The safety aspects included the construction of a wall with a gate, the isolation of the leaking roof, the construction of a sandbox and a climbing frame. In 2017, he invested in an eco-friendly model kitchen. In 2018, artificial lawn was laid and a large roof offering protection from the sun, was built.
Involvement since 2012.
