Whichever option you choose, with your decision to join us you are definitely helping to create better opportunities for disadvantaged children. Whether with various donations, a membership with a regular contribution or with volunteer work in one of our kindergartens – every contribution is helpful and sustainable.
Your donation is tax deductible. No later than the beginning of the following year after your donation, we will automatically send you a donation receipt for your donation.
Useful Donations
You have a wide range of donations to support Golden Sunbeams e.V.’s projects. A single donation, or regular donations, or a donation earmarked for a specific project, they are all meaningful and effective.
Starter Donation
Give the little ones a chance for a better and more secure future. As a start-up donor you, together with us, support our partner organisation Masikhule, in supporting toddlers at the beginning of their lives: education, life perspective and a healthy diet are the focus of this programme. The children should grow up happily in an environment where they are loved, cared for and protected. A regular and healthy diet encourages their learning capacity and their situation can be changed sustainably and in the long-term.
Donation for a Specific Project
Support us with a donation for a project of your choice. You are already informed about our projects and would like to support a specific one? Then you can assist us with this project to develop it in the long term. Project donations are regular, reliable, donations which allow better planning and implementation of the necessary actions.
Gift Donation
Make a meaningful and extraordinary gift to your loved ones. Give a donation to Golden Sunbeams e.V. and make a friend out of disadvantaged children and their families in the Cape Town townships, as well as making your dear one happy. Whether birthday, wedding, Christmas, anniversary – there are so many occasions for doing something good. You decide the amount of the gift yourself.

Become a Member
Support our work with a membership, because an annual membership fee is a regular and big enough amount for realising our projects. The annual membership fee is € 50.
Simply fill out and submit a membership application online. Or download the form, print it out, fill it in and send it by email to info@goldensunbeams.org or by post to Golden Sunbeams e.V., Holunderweg 19, 64404 Bickenbach.
Volunteering
Golden Sunbeams e.V. needs competent practical support from volunteers in the most diverse fields, who will partner with our kindergarten teachers in the townships, for a few weeks, with new ideas. Your ideas are in demand!
Get involved as a volunteer with your idea – we are looking forward to project assignments of budding, as well as experienced professionals, on site. Feel free to contact us at info@goldensunbeams.org
Example “Bau_Raum_Afrika”
With their skills acquired during their studies, three female students initiated the project “Bau_Raum_Afrika”: Merle Hölter, Isabelle Oswald and Tamara Speil studied architecture and urban planning in the 5th century. Semester at the University of Stuttgart. As part of their technical work, they constructed a kitchen for one of our kindergartens in Rusthof.
Their vision: to give disadvantaged children a better and healthier future and to support a more balanced diet.
